    docmd.TransferText WITHOUT Import spec?

Access with office 365 (is this version 2016?) Whatever happened to Help->About?

The saved import specification is disappointing. I can't review or edit it, and something 'strange' is happening. When I issue the command from the Immediate Box

    DoCmd.TransferText acimportdelimited, "xcartin-uom-source-taxesapplied", "xcartin", mLocOrders
and I issue the command from the External Data->Saved Imports->xcartin-uom-source-taxesapplied

it doesn't work the exactly same -- there is an extra field added when I do it from vb and I can't see why because I can't edit the import spec..

I would like to bypass the who saved import spec thing altogether and find a way to import manually. Is there a way?
Or is there a secret way to edit the import spec?

    you CAN review and edit.
manually do a text import, click advanced, select the Spec from the drop box,
    it will load,
edit /revise/ rename it if you need.

i use them. they work just fine.
