How do I change a Split Database back to an un-split database?

I think I know how to do this manually - by cutting and pasting the back-end data tables to the front-end table database, but I was wondering if their is an

automated way to do it, or an easier method. Please let me know. Thank you!

You can import the tables with the External Data tool.

Other than writing a VBA procedure that runs a bunch of SQL statements, what could be more automated? Is this a one-time event?
