Good Day All,
After adjusting the graphical tables in the query window and saving then closing the tables returns to their original positions.
Can anyone explain how to freeze them in the adjusted state?

not sure if it was dropped in 2013 but I don't get a problem in 2010. Only way I can create your issue is if I copy and paste the sql into a new query then go to the query design window. Access simply lays out the tables as it sees fit. But if I then move the tables around a bit and save, they retain their position.
I presume you are not talking about layouts in the relationships window not being reflected when those tables are used in a query? Although they look the same, they are completely different objects.
Hi George. I don't know if this helps and I am not real good at Access yet but I was trying to create UNION queries yesterday using the clipboard and when my new query popped up I just minimized it and moved it where I wanted it in design view. Another thing I just thought of is are you linking the tables when you add them to your query? I haven't had any trouble moving mine. The one problem I was seeing was creating the relationship between them if they didn't have one.
Thanks for you response.
Correct; I am not talking about layouts in the relationships window not being reflected when those tables are used in a query.
Thanks for your response.
Yes my tables are linked and I am just trying to arrange them with the link line not crossing each other.
You might delete the link lines first and then put your tables where you want them and then relink.
