Question Scroll Bar appears on Form Control where Field has no List Box or Combo Box

For the Fiftieth Reunion of my high school class, I am creating a Class Directory utilizing Access. Tables include names, email, telephone number, residence address, etc. List Box nor any sort of Lookup is not configured in the field properties at the bottom of the Table’s Design View. To better enable data entry and updating, I have created a form (based upon a query which combines all the Tables) which displays fields in the database.

Here’s my problem: Some, but not all, of the form controls display a scroll bar, as if there was a List Box. The field is blank and I can enter whatever data I wish (it is not limited as it would be if there was a List Box. This is affecting 10-12 controls.

Obviously, this novice has tripped some flag on the Property Sheets for these controls.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a solution?

Your Help would be greatly appreciated!!!

What types of controls are involved and are we talking horizontal or vertical? Or both? AFAKI, a textbox can only have a vertical scroll bar.
And are you sure the controls are empty when the bar is visible? A lot of line returns but no text can present this appearance.

Memo Fields also display Scroll Bars...on Focus...could that be the problem?
