    Recordset empty. Why?

I have 3 tables all with records. I use vba to move through all the

records to search for a particular record. Coding for recordsets
in two of the tables, there is no problem. For the third table, the
recordset is empty when I know there are records in that table.

Can anyone shed any light on this problem? I close the recordset
after the first two searches and reopen it again before the next
recordset. It works except for this last recordset.

Sorry, my error. What I thought was an empty recordset was a large number of records that
had a null in the field I was searching. I incorrectly assumed that the recurring nulls
that appeared was an indication of an empty recordset.
