How To Change Attachment Field Only To Number Without Paper Clip Sign

Is there any way in query I can show the Paperclip Icon of Attachment Fields to a number only without the paperclip sign.

I'm assuming the original table's caption wasn't changed?

Go into the table in design view and in the field settings look for caption

Did you try giving the attachment field in the table an alias (caption)? I've read that this hides the clip icon in a table datasheet view, but I don't know how it will affect a query. I don't recall ever using attachment fields because it's not recommended.
