problem opening .mdb file

I am currently working on a problem. I have a xxx.mdb file on the a network folder.
The problem is below.



Suppose I have two person one named A and the other named B.
If A signed into Access xxx.mdb file, the file is locked, preventing B from signing into the file.
However, if B sign in the xxx.mdb file first, A can sign in the file after B.

I checked both A and B have the same network permission.
They both have default open mode set to “Shared” and Default record locking set to “No Locks”.
I have tried all possible solutions to fix this issue, but I really can’t think any more now.

Hi Honeybee. I had the same problem. Access Blaster is right. I split the database and two or more people can simultaneously access the DB without facing the problem of who gets to log in first. I got the answer from the pros in the forum. Hope this helps you.
