this is a form property, or a query property,
NOT an action.
The action would be SetProperty.
HI sir,
Do I have to go at the Macro or the Object property ?
Thank you
SetProperty
Hi
How do I use the macro to tell the form this property : '' AllowEdits = False ''
Thanks
In 2007, the OpenForm action accepts arguments, one of which is Data Mode, with 3 options. Look at the bottom of the macro builder window when you're working with the OpenForm action.
The more we hear silence, the more we begin to think about our value in this universe.

Sorry, not so good reading French and transposing that to what I know. My meaning was, why wouldn't you just use a macro to open the form as you wish - not allowing edits?
If the form already has to be open, then I would give the same answer as in post #3 and would not expect the same answer you gave in post #7. You need to be more forthcoming with information as to what that means, what happens (or not) that makes you say it doesn't work, otherwise I don't think we can come up with a fix - at least I can't. The suggested action is supposed to work on the active form, so if you're running the macro when the form is not the active window, then no, it will not work.
Your other choice, I suppose, would be to create a macro that runs code to prevent edits:
Sub LockForm()
Forms!frmYourFormName.AllowEdits = False
End Sub
