saving mdb files as accdb files in MS Access 2010

I have some Access mdb files that I want to convert to the current accdb format. I am using MS Access 2010. The instruction that I have seen online are incorrect in converting an mdb to an accdb file. They go something like

    1. Open MS Access 2010

    2. Select db file in mdb format that you want to convert to accdb.

    3. Select save file

    4. Select save db and choose file type save as accdb.

If it were only that easy. The fourth step seems to not even be available in MS Access 2010.

Is there another way to do this conversion?

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Respectfully,

    Lou Reed

I would open a new accdb and simply *import* the mdb file.
