    Post 2013 version compatibility

    Hi

I have Access 2013 (32 bit) and windows 10 Pro installed on several computers on my network. An ACCDE which has been compiled on one computer does not fully work when transferred to another computer. I am having to compile the ACCDB file on each computer in order for the ACCDE to work. Is there more than version of Access 2013 ? Is there a work around for this? Thanking you in advance for any answers

It's possible each PC has a different version of drivers/controls.
do you use objects outside of access? do you call Excel,or external apps?

each PC could have different versions.

When creating an ACCDE remember the golden rule, "Use the version of Access to create the ACCDE that is the earliest version that will open the ACCDE". This is something to consider even when not using Macros.

VBA is code. Macros in Access are not VBA or considered code.

The ACCDE rule is the ACCDE rule. Whether you use VBA or not. Whether you use Macros or not. What is the earliest version of Access on any given client, 2010? Then use 2010 to create the ACCDE.
