A table in a subform only shows the first record.

I'm trying to create a form/subform that shows all of our inactive parts.

    This is what I designed;

Name:	Step 1.png

    This is what appears:

...missing 822 records of 823 in the original table.

    Suggestions please!

    Table in a subform???
    Data exists/is stored in Tables.
Forms are much like a window or view of data which may exist in a table or query based on table(s).

The form/subform construct used in Access typically with "objects" a 1 to Many relationship.
The 1 side is recordsource of the form, the many side displays records in the many table that are related to the record displayed in the Form.

Need more info re your current issue.

Here's a free video by 599CD (Richard Rost) re Form/subform.

Is the form property "Cycle" set to All Records?

    YAY!!!!!

I finally got it to work!

For some reason, I could not get the table to appear in the lower part of a subform/subreport component. However, I got it to work when I used a list box component! Here's what I wanted:

And with ALL 823 records appearing!

    Thank you all,

    Rebecca

Uh, sorry to rain on your parade, but the count at the bottom has nothing to do with the list box - the latter is a stand-alone control separate to the subform. To test it, put a criteria on your list box query and see if the number at the bottom changes. Something else must have changed and I don't want you to get the wrong idea.

    Thank you for that.

For this database, my primary attempts only showed one record on an entire table.

With the list box, all 823 records appear (of course, with scroll bars).
