    help with columns in report

Access 03, Windows 7 - have a three column report with name field and address field in a name header and date field plus amount field in detail. When the report runs, the second and third column of the detail starts in the area next to the name/address rather than lining up beside the first column of data. I have messed with the formatting and have tried a subreport but didn't get the desired result. What must I do. Thanks.

Thanks but that just moves the first column up to the space beside the name. Other suggestions appreciated.

If that didn't work, then did you try Before & After Section?
What is different about your report so that this doesn't work there, but works in the attached report?

I did change all those properties. I'll compare the one you made available tomorrow and let you know what's different, if anything. Thanks for the help.

Kimmer - I have more fields than your report but I see no drastic changes in your settings from what I'm using. You have a branch header and I have a name header. You want amounts and I want dates. The only differences are the left, top, width and ht settings but this shouldn't matter. I did reset to what you had but the problem is still there. Your rpt is 4.5 and mine is 6.5 but should that make a difference. Access won't allow me to resize. I also changed the page setup many times to no avail. The second column still shows up beside the name no matter what I do. Any other suggestions.

Sorry it took so long. I had to consider confidentality with the data and the copy I'm sending you has made up data but the reports, etc. are the same. Page 1 shows column 2 and 3 beside the name, address section but the other pages show correctly. The report with a 2 at the end is the problem one.
