score and place query

hello everyone, i'm doing my first steps in access..


i want to build a competitions DB where every player has scores according to the points he gained.

is there any way to create a query that will inform what is the place of the player?
for example - the player who gained the high score has 500 points so he has the first place.
the second place player gained 480 points.

is there anyway to create a query that inform me what is the place (first, second, 3, 4, ext...) of the player?

In a query sort a table/query containing Player & PlayerGoals, with PlayerGoals in descending order.
