Subform automatically inserting itself into additional tabbed pages that are added on

When I added a second page to the form, it duplicates the subform on the first page. When I delete the additional subform on the second page, it also deletes the subform on the first page.

    I have 3 forms:
    Books
    Multimedia
    Periodicals.

This issue pertains ONLY to the Periodicals form. I was able to add a second page whose tab title is Borrowing History to the other two forms and did not have the problem that is presenting itself on the Periodicals form.

It sounds like your Sub Form is on the Main Form and not a page of the tab control. Select the Sub Form and press ^X (cut). Then select a page on your Tab Control and press ^V (Paste). That should do it.

Sorry -- not having any luck with that. I'm not familiar with that kind of deletion: ^X. When I try that it still deletes both subforms. I assume I'm supposed to hold down the shift key while pressing the number 6 and then press X? I'm on a PC, not a Mac.

^X = hold the control key then press the "X" key (ctl-x) (Cut)

^V = hold the control key then press the "V" key (ctl-v) (Paste)

It *should* delete both sub forms when you cut. When you paste it will only paste one on the tab page. Steve explained the ^X ^V sequence. Thanks Steve.
