    new record form

    Hi

I have created a form based on two linked tables and can edit, delete records but I am unable to add anew record.

I have additions set to allow in the form properties but it does not let me add a new record.

I did a search on google and some forums seem to imply that you cannot addd a new record in this way.

If so how do I do it?

    thanks

SOME queries, due to their joins will not let you edit records,
    some wont let you add.
Add directly to a single table/query
you cant add data to 2 tables that way.
