Hey guys,
I'm trying to build an AfterInsert data macro and the OnError action has no Macro Name option! It only has Next and Fail.
Is this standard behavior? According to my textbook, Macro Name should have been there!

Yes, an error can only do 2 things,
stop
or move on.
Not sure about 2013 but certainly up to 2010 macros don't have error handling beyond the basics of stop or keep going. You need to use VBA for more sophisticated error handling
Oh okay, thanks guys. I guess my textbook is wrong then. You can close this thread if you want...
you can - click on thread tools to the right of the green ar at the top of the threadYou can close this thread if you want...
Sorry to bump an old thread but I'd liek to clarify (for other people that were looking for the same thing) that you there is a Macro name option in normal Macros - it's only data macros that don't have it.
