How to make blank fields for currency fields and numerical fields

Hello all, my problem is that I have a form for data entry, that contains a currency field and a quantity field. When we open the form these fields contain a default value of $0.00 or 0. I would like to make this fields blank, because I have to always delete the value before entering the new value. Is there a way of accomplishing this. thank you for your help

Maybe this will help. You need to have the entire field selected when you enter the textbox so that typing the first number will replace the entire highlighted field. No need to blank it out first.
You can do this by <FILE><OPTIONS><CLIENT SETTINGS>
Change the BEHAVIOR ENTERING FIELD to 'Select entire field'.

Apparently the Default value is set at either the Table or Form level...have you tried deleting the Default Value?

Thank you for your answers, the select entire field worked correctly. Problem solved.
