    AutoKeys Macro Problem

    Hi, all. I'm trying use a macro to set AutoKeys for my database. I created submacros for a handful of AutoKeys without any problem. These include AutoKeys like ^{F11},^g, and +{F4}.

    However, many AutoKeys I tried to enter do not work- Access gives me an error message when I try to save the submacros. The message says "The key or key combination in AutoKeys has invalid syntax and is not allowed." A list of AutoKeys that prompt this error message is below. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help! -Matt

    AutoKeys that Prompt Error Message:
    %{F11}
    %{F4}
    %(fe)
    ^{DOWN}
    ^{END}
    ^{HOME}
    ^{LEFT}
    ^{PGDN}
    ^{PGUP}
    ^{RIGHT}
    ^{TAB}
    ^+{TAB}
    {PGDN}
    {PGUP}
    ^{‘}

    ^{+}
    ^{,}
    ^{-}
    ^ {.}
    ^{_}
    +{~}
    +{ENTER}

    Hi, thanks for the reply.

    Yeah, they're reserved, but the ones that worked are reserved as well. So, I don't think that's the issue.

    What I'm trying to do is disable certain hotkeys- that's why they're all hotkeys that already exist in Access.

    Okay, I think I see the issue. There's only certain types of keys that you can use as AutoKeys: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/106183

    I'll have to try another way to do what I want to do.
