Red face Filter Query Based On The Value Of The Button Pressed

This is probably extremely easy but I just can't make it work. I have a report that has different App ID numbers. When these numbers are clicked I want a query to get filtered base on the value of that button. Please let me know ! Thanks !

How about giving us a little more context? Tell us about the App and the ID.
Where is it exactly that you do the "clicking"?
Many developers would have a form to identify parameters/options for a report; then when the form controls were updated, the recordsource or filter for the report would be adjusted before the report was opened.
