Link a column in a table based on the selection of other column at the same table

Hi, I have a question that should be simple to answer. I am creating a Main table that has two columns, which are linked to 2 other table that have relationship with each other (Table 1 has a relationship w/ Table 2).

After I select the table 1 linked column in the Main Table, how can I make access to filter the Table 2 only by the records with relationship to Table 1?

At the table level - just leave the fundamental linking. It is at the form level that one can implement data dependent criteria. Part of the issue is that one must control the human in terms of selecting the first field before selecting the second.

In a form, you alter the 2nd field's record source property (query) to include the criteria of the first field. Then after the first field is selected - you requery the second field's combo box so it will only contain the correct sub set of data.
