    create 2 search combo boxes from two tables in a form

    hi

    i have a table contains the information of our members . but old information


    some of them are renewing their membership and i wanna have a new table with updated information of these people

    also maybe we have new members and dont have some of old members

    so How can I create a search box in a form that can search in old table ? and if it was exist , show his information so i would update it and save to new table

    Why 2 tables? The data for a person should be in 1 table. If its old, then they can update the 1 record, making it new.

    ok forget about the topic title
    i wanna search in old table and then update the information and save it to new table
    how can i do that ?
