I guess I'm just not understanding the issue you are having. When you did a "Select, Copy and Paste" you could *not* change the Record Source?

I've done this with my ac2013 and it lets me change the Record Source on the Copy. I could load ac2010 but I believe it will respond the same.
That is correct, when I did a "Select, Copy and Paste" I could not change the record source.
I am currently using Win 10 but I don't have 64bit ac2010. If you want to upload something for me to try I'll give it a shot. Remove any sensitive info of course.
I'll try tomorrow to get something to send to you.
Okay, that's cool. Take care.
I finally found how to break the files from the server. I will try to attach them to this message. One is the Access file and the other is the Excel file. When this was started several years ago we linked the Access and Excel files. (This may be the reason for the difficulty in adding the new reports) I hope these files are attached.
It looks like you did not have any luck attaching the files. What sort of error did you get?
"UPLOAD OF FILE FAILED" have tried several times to get the files to upload with no success.
Can you put them all in a ZIP file? If it is under 2MBs it should upload.
Let try again.
Which of the 79 reports were you trying to copy?
If it makes any difference, I was able to copy and paste the Thomas&Betts3 report and then change the Record Source of the copy.
Can you copy report RW-05 and change the Record Source to RW-06? This is what I couldn't do. The resulting report should have only one date. (what version access did you use?)
There are a *bunch* of RW-06's in the selection, but I could change to any one of them. I am currently using Access 2013 32 bit on Win 10.
