Locking of the end user app

    Hi

Is it possible to lock the final ACCESS database app so that the end user will not be able to edit the
app , like changing the UI or any thing else in the app ?

I should have said: need to first set database Options to hide navigation pane, hide ribbon, disable shortcut keys, disable shortcut menus. Even after all that the user still has access to File > Privacy Options and can undo those settings. Requires programming to disable this.

    Then there is password protection.

Securing an Access database against tampering is not simple.

Is this database a split design?

What if I turn the database app to an EXE standalon file , there are some tools that do that .
Will it make the app protected ?

Maybe you can try to convert into runtime version.
