Inserting bmp image on tab page loses color

I want to make my tab name be colored so I a created bmp image with the title in blue and the background color in tan. (The other pages were to have different color schemes.) When I embed the image, it showed up on the tab just fine, but the colors were lost. The text was black and the background grey.

I tried importing the image onto the body of the tab pages just to see what would happen and the colors showed up correctly.

Any idea as to why the colors are lost/changed/grey scale when embedding the picture onto the tab itself (the "label" part, not the "body" part)?

How did you do this? I just tried setting tab Picture property to an image and nothing shows up.

Okay, did not like the images offered by the dialog. I had to navigate to a bmp file. It shows up in full color.

Cannot replicate issue. Do you want to provide the image for testing with?
