Exclamation Filtering Data in Query Design: Please Help

    Hello everyone,

I'm wondering how to repeat a column of averages with their specific comments?

For example, my row of averages looks like this:

    Avg1 Avg2 Avg3 Avg4 Avg5

I have a column that looks like this

    Comm1

    Comm2
    Comm3

The output I'm looking for is:

    Avg1 Avg2 Avg3 Avg4 Avg5 Comm1
    Avg1 Avg2 Avg3 Avg4 Avg5 Comm2
    Avg1 Avg2 Avg3 Avg4 Avg5 Comm3

Hopefully that makes sense. Is there any way to do this?

I presume there are no fields to link the comments to the avg's

    so try something like this

    SELECT DISTINCT *
    FROM tblAvgs, tblComments

Ajax has suggested a Cartesian query - each record is associated with every record of other table, resulting in all possible combinations of paired records. That should get the result in your example.

Your average data is not normalized structure.
