    Number stored as text


    I have a field where numbers are stored as text i.e: string in field reads: 123456. how do i convert the text to a number for storage in a number field so the number can be used in calculations?

    Chect the following functions:

    check out Val, CDbl,
    CInt, CCur, CDec, functions. The ones highlighted in Red is the one I would suggest you to look for.
