Blank cell in Totals column - not adding cells with numberss

This is a problem that's been bugging me for a few days now. I have a table with tallies of trees in various sizes, and at the end I have a Totals column with a Calculated field that is just [5-10]+[10-20] etc, to calculate the total number of trees for each plot/species. I have NO blank cells in the table, all nulls are set at 0. I have 3 Totals cells that show blank (see image), and because it's a calculated field I cannot manually enter the totals. I've tried doing this in a new query with the same method. Is there a better way to do this or fix it as is?

Your data structure is not strictly normalized. The 'better way' is likely to normalize data structure and run aggregate query to do the sum.

However, what you have should work. The only reason I know for the sum to result in Null is if one of the fields in the expression contains Null.

I would have to review data to further analyze issue.

Yes, I realized I had a Field [0-5] which was in my equation but not in the original table. Seems to have fixed it.

That's weird. Did not get a popup prompt? Why would some records have result?
