How to print on pre printed check list

    D/All

I have a pre printed check list for crew when they join. I learnt from this forum how to use multi select and able to get print out in bulk. Now I want to use the same thing to pick some names and print on the pre printed check list.

I read the threads on how to print on pre printed forms.

    Can you pls tell me:

    1. Which is best option to save the scan as. jpg is not clear but tiff is making the image to 2mb file size.

    2. Where to put the scanned check list in the report?? If I put it in the report header and minimise rest of the borders, report footer and detail will it be ok??

    3. If I put the required fields without borders on the scanned image, will it give me a good print out?

Alternatively any other better way can be suggested.

Note: our company only uses access97

You can either try and save the images as a higher quality JPG file (which should solve your problem with the image not being clear) or as a Compressed TIFF (which should lower the size of your TIFF files).

Alternately, you could try PNG files which would probably give you the best combination of quality/file size, but I'm not sure if Access97 supports that format.

I'm not sure about #2. The only way to figure out for that one would be to try it out.

As for #3, that's how I'd do it. Assuming the Header/Footer sections come out OK, this should end up with exactly what you're looking for.
