UPDATE query with CAST function

Hi,

I'm new to this forum. I checked many sites plus this forum and I didn't find any example of what I'm looking for. I have a syntax error in my query :

UPDATE tblDistributeurs
SET tblDistributeurs.Distributeur = 'Imavision 2000'
WHERE CAST(Distributeur AS Long Text) Distributeur = 'Imavision 21'



If anyone could give me a clue, I would appreciate.

The CAST function is not valid in Access SQL. Try this, as no conversion may be necessary:

UPDATE tblDistributeurs
SET tblDistributeurs.Distributeur = 'Imavision 2000'
WHERE Distributeur = 'Imavision 21'
