    format a text box

    Hi

I have a table with a field defind as currency.

On a form I created an unbound text box with DSum code to sum the total cost

    this works a treat.

THought it would be tidy to put a £ sign in front - to indicate currency but when I look at the mask option for the text box I see no option for currency?

    Possible or not?

It's not vital it's just a quick database for a popup xmas shop but it's something else to learn

    thanks

    Ian

you use the format property, not the mask property - mask is for input and you won't be able to do that for a calculated value
