    Save report as pdf.

I have built a customer-order db that Works just fine. I want to add some features to it. I have a customer order form with a button that turns the order into a report (invoice)via a query. I was wondering if there is a possibility that I can add another button to the form that saves the report (invoice) as PDF to a location on the computer(or network) with a specific name (date+invoicenr.) can anyone help me out with this? Any help and/or advice is appreciated

    Regards,

    Sam

Start by checking out OutputTo in VBA help. You can include data from the form in the name with things like:

    "C:\Whatever\" & Me.CustomerName & ".PDF"

Lebans is a great tool that I use myself, but PDF capability is built into 2007, so it's not really necessary.

The PDF capability was included in one of the service packs or patches, so if your version is up-to-date, no further download should be required.
