    DLookup error (Runtime 2001 - "You canceled the privious operation")

    I just don't see it.

    As one can see from the composite screenshot, DLookup should be returning a value of 16 from the table tblAccounts. (Debug clearly shows correct value for criteria)

    Is Access getting mixed up because field names are the same in both tables tblChkReg and tblAccounts?

    Thanks,
    Bill

    you are missing the single quotes to denote text and because of your square brackets in the field value, access thinks [Sav Vacation] is a field

    try

    "[AcctName] = '" & rs!AcctName & "'"

    These are the kinds of problems that one encounters when one goes from Quicken > Excel > csv > Access and ends up with Quicken data fields with brackets.
