one table, one account number, multi record in subform

I have one table "account", I'd like with the help of the form and subform to achieve listing of all items from the subform so that each is a separate record in the table, but to retain the account number from the top of the form.

from the sound of it, you need to split your table

    - suggest you post your table design plus some sample data

I'm a bit confused - you have accountno in the table - are you saying it should be one account per studentID and you need to correct the data?

Or are you saying you want to filter the subform on studentID and accountno?

so you want the subform to show only records related to studentid and accountno?

If so then for your subform set the linkchild and linkmaster properties to

    studentid; accountno

use square brackets if you have spaces
