    Cardinal Directions

Hello, I use Access for a weather database that I am working on building. When I get wind direction from my anemometer it is in number form (i.e. 1°-360°) I would like to be able to type 360 into my table and have it be converted to the word NORTH. Is this possible? How do I do it? Thanks!

You can have a table with three fields, the upper and lower limits of a range and the direction. Then you can get the value with a DLookup() or query join.

Paul's solution would work, but I think it's overkill for what you want. I'd just make a function that takes in a double (or integer if always whole numbers), and has a Select Case that determines the output.
