I would try commenting out the lines:...the end result is the Invoice that I want plus all the other records in the recordset...

I think I understand it now. I found a website https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/lib.../ff835068.aspx which explains how to use filter queries. And with all the explanations from June7. I am getting the problem solved. Thank you.. And I will try to comment my code more often..
