Good morning,
So I'm trying to sort my report by three fields - one is the time that an order was placed, one is the time the order was put into the system (done in a batch), and the last is the order ID.
The time the order was placed is usually unique, and the order ID is always unique. However, the primary field I want to sort on is the time the order was put into the system. This time is often the same for multiple rows generated by a query.
However, when I try to use the Sorting & Grouping feature in my Access 2003 report, it not only sorts but also groups on each value. So if I have 10 rows with the same value for the primary sort/group field, alot of those records disappear from my report.
Does anyone have any hints on how I can still primarily sort by a field that may not be unique in each row (and then use a secondary and third field for sorting in the case that they are the same)?
Thanks,
-Chris
