Field won't let me change format

I have a query in which I have used a dSum to generate a total amount from multiple payments. For some reason in the properties I cannot change the format. It has a drop down but it is blank. Also how can I get all the empty cells to show £0.00?

    Thanks

Why do this formatting in query? Do it in textbox on form or report.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
