How to handle error ( Run time error "3274" , External table is not in the expected format. )

Does anyone know how to handle error ( Run time error "3274" , External table is not in the expected format. ) ?

If user accidentally uploaded the wrong file , I dont want the microsoft access to prompt user to debug / go to the code page.
Is there any way to achieve this ?
    Thanks in advance

How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
