    Lost external tables

    Hey Guys,

I´ve splitt my db in frontend and backend. that works fine, til now.

I changed some code in the backend file so before I make a copy (backup) of the BE.

After I finished all I wanna use these new BE.

So I start the tabel connection manager in the frontend, choose the new backend file and config a connection to the BE tables.

I start my forms, my qry. everything works fine, but:

If I view the database, there are no relations to see, no table is connected with another.
If I try to create a new form the fieldlist on the right site is filled with tables named "~TMPCLP20..." and so on. only two old backup tables, I never used the last view days looks like nomal.

So I can´t fil fields into my new form, I get an error that the path to the backend file ist wrong. I checked these in the table connection manager and the path is richt.

If I try to use one of the tables (old backup tables) that looks fine, I get another error, that there are no relations to the table.

Whats wrong with that system. could anyone emagine, whats happen?

    thx

Changes on the backend do not effect the front. Only tbls.
Make changes in the front end.
