12/05/22.
I wrote a program for my church to record information on membership.
It worked fine. We bought a new computer with Windows 11.
Our Tech loaded the same version of Office 2016 on this new computer.
Now I get the following message when I try to open forms in my program.
error message "The code in this project must be update on 64-bit systems.
Please review and update Declare statements and then mark them with the PtrDafe attribute.”
I think it has something to do with 64bit system.
I loaded the program on another computer with Windows 10,
using Office 2016. and it works fine. When I wrote the program
on my desktop, using Office 2003 it worked. I then loaded it on
a computer running Office 2010 saved it to update to new version
and it worked fine on my desk top with 2003 and my old laptop with Office 2007.
Then I tried loading it on a new laptop, with Windows 11 and I got the same error.
The same tech loaded the new laptop with the Office 2016 version.
Again I think it has something to do with 64-bit system.
I would appreciate any help I can get to solve this problem.
Thank you advance for any help.
Dave Carpenter.
