export.ini file appears in the application folder

The application folder I work from contains an .mdb file and a docs folder. Recently an export.ini file showed up. In conjunction with this, a merged document failed. My merge documents are run by a vba process which takes query data into a .txt file. Can I assume that this process uses the export and for some reason threw it into the application file? And can I now delete the export.ini from the application folder?

    Thanks for any insight.

I would say yes. Or maybe copy it to a temporary location and see if it is missed. Can always copy back.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
