Different versions of the same form.

Obviously I can re-create a form so its the same bar a few settings, but I was wondering if I have to?

I want to use the same form in two ways, One to edit data and one to view data. I believe I have seen this done before but I'm not 100%.

In the none editable version of the record I do need the user to be able to change the date. However I could include a button and a very simple form (one field) for just this.

I'm just looking for opinions. Thanks!

    Andy.

I'd use a single form. You can toggle its AllowEdits property in various ways, including as you enter/leave that date textbox.

Thanks Paul, Could you give me a rough guide on how to achieve this? I'll look into this in more detail in the morning so don't spend too much time giving me advice, but if there's any pointers that are easy for you to give I would appreciate it. Thanks.
