I do not understand the steps

In a Microsoft Access 2010 tutorial shown here:

    http://www.functionx.com/access/Lesson17.htm

The instructions toward the end of lesson 17 say :

    ...

    20. Click the + button of actions to expand it

    21. Double-click Database Objects to expand it

    ...

I think I know what the + button of actions is, but I have no idea where the

Database Objects that I must click to expand is located.

In essence, they have lost me here.

    What are they talking about?

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Respectfully,

It is the 3rd item below Actions.

    Click + or double click.

Okay, but where is actions button?
I believe that I am missing window in MS Access 2010. It is either opening under another window or it is not opening at all.

    Thanks for your help.

You said you found the + Actions?

When opening a macro for editing, should automatically open a window to the right that is titled Action Catalog. If you don't see that window then activate it by clicking Action Catalog on the ribbon Macro Tools Design tab. Should see two major groups - Program Flow and Actions.

Okay, that was the problem. When I clicked Create-Macro the first time (after loading the db) a window to the right opens title Action Catalog.

Any subsequent clicking of Create-Macro does not open that window.

    Hence, the step:

    21. In the right window, click the + button of Actions to expand it

It simple. I had no right window. I thought the + button was something else.

I will try what you said and will see what happens.

    Thanks for your help.
