    Check box

I am running access 2003 on XP-Pro and my question is how can I get a check box follow the record it was selected on. I cant figure our what control to use. When I scroll thru records the check box always stays the same thru all records. I added fields in the table that the form is looking at and changed the properties of those fields to a general number. What else am I not seeing?

A checkbox would normally be bound to a Yes/No field. If you want to associate your checkbox with one, you would set the Control Source property to the name of the field. If you bind it to a numeric field, basically everything but zero would show as checked.

It should be the first item on the data tab. Make sure you're looking at the properties of the checkbox, not its related label.

Why do you think I thought to mention it? Been there, done that!

Welcome to the site by the way.
