Macro to run queries in sequence

    Hi everyone,

I have 15 queries that I run every month that produce an output file that I use to update a database in Excel. Could someone provide me with info on how I could automate running these queries. I've read on a forum that there are two approaches that may be able to perform this, the first one includes .execute in the coding the other is .Doevents. Someone had mentioned that the .execute approach could be problematic in terms of timing because on large jobs it does not wait for the first query job to complete. Could someone please provide guidance on the best approach? I appreciate the help.

I've never had to do this so went on a web search. I found references that indicated DoEvents between each query execution did not help. Also found suggestion for use of transaction method. Review: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1...uery-ms-access
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
