The Microsoft Access database engine cannot find a record in the table <name> with key matching fiel

I get this error "The Microsoft Access database engine cannot find a record in the table <name> with key matching field(s) <name>. (Error 3101)" when I attempt to add a new record to the relational database and as far as I know it has something to do with the fact that I'm trying to add a volunteer to a table that does not exist, but does called tblVolunteers.Click image for larger version.

I would expect to see actual names of tables in that error message. Maybe make a copy of your database and then do a Compact and Repair.

    The error pointed to tblSkills.

Sounds like you have a referential integrity rule defined in your Relationships Window that is being violated by the action of saving the record.
