Conditional Formatting - Query Datasheet View

    Hi All,

I have a search for a supplier form, linked to a query, when the user enters certain data only suppliers who match the criteria set out in the search form will appear.

Each supplier has a rating which goes from 0-12, is there any way that I could colour the cell depending on the value which has been entered and then have this displayed in the query datasheet view?. For Example

    0-2 = Black
    3-8 = Red
    9-10 = Orange
    11-12 = Green

Any help would be greatly appreciated have to have this finished by Friday.

in a datasheet view (or multi record), all records have the same color. you cant set 1 field to blue, then next row to green. they all are the same.

If you use a form or report to present the data, you can use Conditional Formatting to achieve that look. In a report you can also use VBA.

As ranman notes, cannot do this in table or query. Textbox and combobox controls on form/report can have Conditional Formatting. This is the ONLY way to get the appearance you describe in a datasheet or continuous view form.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

SORRY, but I did get conditional formatting to work.
in the FORM design, click the FORMAT tab, conditional formatting, then set your condition.
