Ceil Inn command buttons tutorial

The following two instructions on installing the buttons on forms in the Ceil Inn tutorial do not work for me. I list the instructions now.




1.
Using the Button control in the Ribbon, add a button to the Footer section of the form. In the first page of the wizard, select Form Operations and Open Form then click Next. In the second page of the wizard, click AvailableRooms and click Finish.

2. Install Ceil Inn Payment form as follows.

How do I change them to get the result shown in the tutorial? The second button on the Ceil Inn: Payment
form does not even have instructions telling what to do.

Unless you provide what you have done, cannot advise how to change.

The instructions for AvailableRooms button are simple and straightforward.

The second button is the Close button on Payments form? Use the wizard and build button to do that action. The tutorial probably assumes you only needed to be instructed once on how to use the wizard.

Okay here is my CeilInn11.zip file. I did follow the Ceil Inn tutorial instructions to
create this button and this is what I got on the Ceil Inn payments table.

Not finding any button on Payments form.

The only form with a button is Occupancies. If you want a caption instead of image on the button then set the Caption property and change Picture property to (none) - by typing that or selecting (image) and then delete key.

I am in error. The button is on the Occupancy Form. It really does not look like a button, so I will
try what you said and see if it works.

Okay your suggestions worked. The buttons always worked, but the labels were
not there.

I now have another question on some of my forms in design view the form background
is perfectly white. It is not a grid and it certainly has no smaller gridline lines inside of the
bolder gridlines.

Thus how do I restore them? The original form in design view had that design, but somewhere
along the way it just became white. I want to put them back.

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

On the ribbon: Arrange > Size/Space > Grid

Set Form/Report GridX and GridY properties to a number. 24 is the max and that's what I use.
