Help me to understand forms

Sorry to bother, but I am in need of some clarification. Am I understanding right that you can have one form and multiple tables, but you cannot have one table, and multiple forms?(with all data from the multiple forms appear on the same record line in the one table?)

EDIT:Never mind. After quite a bit of reading and playing around, figured out what I was trying to accomplish. Although not what I really wanted it will work and do the job.
