    Post Rank the records in MS ACCESS according to the occurrence in table.

    Hello,


    My table with following data. So I want to show the Rank column as below in it.
    Thanx in advance.
    ID Rank
    ILT001 1
    ILT001 2
    ILT001 3
    ILT002 1
    ILT002 2
    ILT003 1
    ILT004 1
    ILT005 1
    ILT005 2
    ILT006 1

    I presume you want to calculate rank? in which case you will need an additional column to give meaning to rank, such as an autonumber field - or a timestamp so long as no two records within your ID can have the same timestamp, or you are prepared to have shared ranking.
